Advanced Lab Testing

Understand what your body is telling you.

Comprehensive lab testing helps us look deeper at the systems influencing your energy, metabolism, hormones, inflammation and overall health.

Beyond Basic Bloodwork

Your results should tell a complete story.

Standard laboratory testing can be helpful, but it does not always explain why you still feel tired, struggle with weight changes, experience brain fog or simply do not feel like yourself.

At MIKARI Integrative Health, testing is selected according to your symptoms, health history, risk factors and personal goals.

Instead of using the same panel for every patient, we evaluate the markers most relevant to your health and look at how those results relate to one another.

The goal is not simply to identify an abnormal number. It is to understand what may be contributing to how you feel.

You Know Your Body

“Normal” results do not always mean you feel well.

If you have been told that your labs look fine but you continue to experience fatigue, weight changes, hair loss, brain fog, low libido, digestive concerns or hormone-related symptoms, your health may deserve a closer look.

STEP 02

Select Your Labs

Your provider identifies the markers most relevant to your individual health concerns.

STEP 03

Complete Testing

Clinical Interpretation

Lab results are more than “normal” or “abnormal.”

Laboratory reference ranges are important, but they are only one part of the evaluation.

Your results should also be considered alongside your symptoms, medical history, medications, lifestyle and changes over time.

  • Understand how results relate to your symptoms
  • Identify patterns across multiple body systems
  • Establish a baseline for future comparison
  • Monitor your response to treatment
  • Create more personalized recommendations
Insurance and Lab Coverage

Understanding your testing options

MIKARI does not bill insurance directly. Some patients may choose to complete eligible blood testing independently through their insurance plan.

Coverage and out-of-pocket costs vary. Patients should contact their insurance provider before completing testing to confirm benefits, laboratory restrictions and potential costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Lab testing at MIKARI

Do I need a consultation before ordering labs?

Laboratory testing is typically recommended after your provider reviews your health history, symptoms and goals. This allows the panel to be selected intentionally rather than ordering tests that may not be relevant to your care.

Can I use laboratory results I already have?

Recent results may be reviewed and may reduce the need to repeat certain tests. Results completed within the previous six months may be useful depending on the test and your current health concerns.

Can I use insurance for laboratory testing?

MIKARI does not bill insurance directly. Some patients may complete eligible testing independently through their insurance plan. Coverage should be confirmed before completing the blood draw.

Will my provider explain my results?

Yes. Your provider will review the findings in the context of your symptoms and health history and explain how they may relate to your individualized care plan.

Does every patient receive the same panel?

No. Testing may vary according to your age, symptoms, medical history, medications, previous results and treatment goals.

Do I need to fast before my blood draw?

Some tests require fasting while others do not. Follow the instructions provided with your laboratory order. Do not stop medications or supplements unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.
